Cookie Policy
For the CarerCore website, platform and applications · Last updated: July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, why CarerCore uses them, the categories we use, and how you can manage your preferences. By using our website, you agree to the use of strictly necessary cookies. For any non-essential cookies, we ask for your affirmative consent before they are placed or accessed.
1. Who we are and when this Policy applies
CarerCore is the trading name used by the relevant CarerCore company operating the website, Platform or service you use.
For services and Platform use connected with Northern Ireland or the United Kingdom, the relevant company is CarerCo Ltd, company number 13635212, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX and operational address 5-7 William Street, Portadown, BT62 3NX.
For services and Platform use connected with the Republic of Ireland, the relevant company is CarerCo ROI Clinical and Community Services Limited, company number 808136, registered and operational address 2 Paddocks Way, Adamstown, Lucan, Dublin, K78 AN81.
This Policy applies when you visit or use the CarerCore website, customer portal, booking Platform, mobile application or another online service operated by CarerCore. It applies to customers, Service Users, representatives, prospective customers and general website visitors.
It covers cookies and similar technologies used on your computer, phone, tablet or other connected device. A separate workforce privacy notice and any workforce-platform information apply to applicants and Care Professionals using staff systems.
5. Consent and managing your preferences
When consent is required, CarerCore will not place or access non-essential cookies before you make an affirmative choice. Continuing to browse without making a choice is not treated as consent.
- Accept all allows the optional categories described in the banner or preference centre.
- Reject non-essential keeps optional categories disabled while essential technologies continue to operate.
- Manage preferences allows you to choose categories separately where that option is available.
You can withdraw or change consent at any time using the link displayed on the Platform. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal, but it will stop future use of the relevant optional technologies once your choice is applied.
We may ask you to confirm your choices again after a reasonable period, when the cookies or purposes materially change, or where we cannot reliably recognise an earlier preference. We retain a limited record of consent choices to demonstrate and respect them.
Choosing not to accept optional cookies will not prevent access to essential care information or basic Platform functions, although some optional personalisation, media or integrated features may not work.
6. Third-party technologies
CarerCore may use carefully selected technology providers to support payments, security, hosting, maps, communications, error reporting, analytics or other Platform functions. Some providers may place or access information on your device when their feature is enabled.
Where a third party determines its own purposes for information collected through its technology, its privacy and cookie information may also apply. CarerCore does not control cookies placed after you leave the Platform and visit an external website.
Optional third-party technologies are not intentionally activated before the required consent is obtained. A third-party service that is essential to complete a function you expressly request, such as secure payment or authentication, may operate under an applicable legal exemption.
8. Browser and device controls
Most browsers and devices allow you to view, block or delete cookies. Browser controls are separate from CarerCore's Cookie Settings and may remove both essential and optional cookies.
Blocking all cookies may sign you out, prevent bookings or payments from completing, remove saved preferences or stop parts of the Platform from working properly. Device, browser and application providers supply their own instructions for managing stored information. Visit aboutcookies.org for browser-specific instructions, or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all websites.
9. Personal information and privacy
Where a cookie or similar technology involves personal information, CarerCore processes it in accordance with the CarerCore Privacy Policy and applicable UK or Irish data-protection law. Depending on the purpose, this may include consent, performance of a contract, legal obligations or legitimate interests, subject to the rules governing storage and access technologies.
Cookie-derived information may include IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, Account or session identifiers, pages or functions used, referring information, interactions, technical errors and consent choices.
We apply appropriate security and retention controls and disclose cookie-related information only as described in the Privacy Policy, including to service providers, regulators or authorities where lawful and necessary.
10. Changes, contact details and complaints
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, guidance, technology or the Platform. The latest version will be published with its effective date. Where a material change affects optional technologies, we may request fresh consent.
