About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Care Worker to lead by example, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure the highest standards of care across your team. You'll support care planning, quality checks, and day-to-day coordination while continuing to deliver hands-on care. This is an excellent step up for a care professional ready to take on leadership responsibility with full support from management.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care including washing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with mobility and daily activities
- Assisting with meal preparation and hydration
- Supporting medication routines in line with care plans
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting changes
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
What We're Looking For
- A caring, patient, and compassionate nature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undertake training and development
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
- Full training and access to a vehicle preferred (role dependent)
